Well here he is, Juleits brother.Function's perfect, however I need higher scope rings, I can't hardley get my face low enough to get a sight picture. The trigger has alittle creep and is 4lb., that will have to be replaced.And the big bummer, I am not impressed with the accuracy However groups did get smaller each time.This should be the sweet load 40 V-Max This I am Okay with 55 V-Max And this is my Mini-14 Laod and my Mini shoots it just as accurate 50 V-Max And the last one Win. white box 55 FMJ, this I'm happy with.The top group is the first group out of the rifle

Let it break in a bit. Were you using your bi-pod? If you were you might want to take it off and try without it. They can introduce some harmonics especially if you have it on the bi-pod. You'll need that LaRue mount for your scope to get it high enough too. Plus your trigger probably isn't helping those groups either. But it sure looks pretty.

Hey John:No Bi-pod, just sand bag's.I was thinking next time out letting you shoot it to see if it is just me not being used to shooting a pistol grip rifle.Is there a good trigger out there that isn't a fortune.

No unfortunately there isn't and even the expensive ones I don't care for the trigger pull. They're crisp but most are 3.5 pounds. Half of the problem is the crumby triggers because when they let go the gun jerks. I can bring my shooting bags out and you can try that too they sure help because the gun is wedged in that bad. The pistol grip takes some getting used to also. I've shot a lot of those guns so I don't think about it.

Hey John:Here is another dumb ?Do you rest your AR on the butt stock or the pistol grip.It seems I could hold it a bit steadier on the grip, but I don't think that is good.Also I tried the Bi-Pod just to see where POI would be and it was the same as on the rest, so that is good to know for in the field.I hope Accuracy gets better cause I sure do like like shootin' it.Oh Ya' I found my Gas block was not that tight either, I had alot of gas blowby.

HylanderYour rifle looks like a mean keeler. Major bummer about those 40gr V max bullets. Thats what Im planning on using.Do you have a hard time reaching your charging handle. Looks like its under the scope?If your using a scope with a 50mm bell these are the rings im using 100-001-477 They're solid at a decent price $60.About triggers for AR's. I purchased a Chip McCormick drop in for my first AR and wasnt all that impressed vs my Jewell TG on a Rem 700. So, I bought a RRA TG and now I luv my McCormick.The RRA has a pretty heavy pull, bit of creep but no over travel and the break is good. I think I have the solution. JP Enterprises. I rest mine on the butt stock with a rabbit ear bag. The forearm I use that big Browning X bag that grips the handguard. I have that Jewell Trigger too set to about a pound and a half so I'm sure that could have a lot to do with it grouping slightly tighter. Everyone said those triggers took fitting and should only be installed buy a competent gunsmith. Either they are incompetent or I'm above average but it only took about 20 minutes once I threw away the crumby instructions. Some of the parts were upside down in the picture.

You're probably right. I wanted that JP Trigger originally but it only adjusted down to 3.5 pounds and I wanted lower. Mine adjusts from the top with the upper opened with just an Allen wrench. Plus I was able to adjust out the second stage because I'm not a two stage fan. I would say it was easy except you have to measure the pins first to make sure you order the right model. Some light honing may be needed on the pins for proper fit. But it is crisp and breaks like glass. That faster hammer sure makes lock time quick too.

Not at all, My fingers slip aroung the sides of the eye peice.

Can that spring kit be used on a standerd trigger ?

The Phantom is getting better Average grouping was .54 for a 3 shot five group string.My new bags gave me a much steadier hold.However the trigger sucks an it is still hard to get a good site picture.I will order a Riser on Monday.Now the big problem is it had Several FTF and FTE Almost every other shot it would fail to eject or pick up a Cartridge from the Mag The bolt would start to pick up a cartridge and jam it in the middle, this was esecially true if I loaded more than 3 rounds in the mag. It is a new Bushmaster Mag.Well here is a TargetI think the Trigger is the culprit.

The groups are getting better as I shoot more But as far as the FTF goes that better cure up Toot Sweet.Cuase that Ain't Acceptable

I'd bet it is that gas block problem you mentioned to me. I'd just call WOA Monday and talk to them. Mine doesn't have any blow-by.

Sterling did you talk to John at WOA today? What did he say about the functioning or lack thereof? Or do you have to send it back to him? Or is it your lowers problem? Inquiring minds want to know.

John sent me an E-Mail last night and said that some gas blowby was normal,but if I though it was to much, just send him the Upper and he would rectify the leak I'm going to tighten up the block as tight as I can.I hate to send anything back once I have it I also orderd a Yankee Hill Mount, it will raise my scope 1/2 inch.That should be high enough I hope

Don't get carried away, I've seen some of your repairs. Seems a front sight got busted off and then there was that drill problem and well you see where I'm headed.

I'm glad I sent the Ruger back, they were great to deal with. The H&R, well thats another story If it comes to it I will send the Upper back, John seems fine to deal with and already said he will cure the leak ;)Just don't want to send it back if I don't need to.

Well I thought he was done I just sent the Upper off UPS back to WOA for repairs.It seems there are Chamber problems John at WOA seems very good to deal with, I just hope he has another barrel to put on itand I don't have to wait week's or months to get my Upper back And I just got my Mag Lock today in the mail and my Jewell trigger is due here Monday

Sorry to hear about your Cycling problems hylander.I see the gun is grouping well I haven't had a chance too try mine out since last week.Did you buy that upper already complete if you did they should have adjusted the block.If you have a extra buffer spring change it I read that problem on AR.com and it was the spring. My AR is built complete from bushmaster and so far so good it has no problems. good luck

I orderd the upper complete.The Cycling problem is cured but it has a bad chamber.I have a Wolf extra power spring on its way as well as a Jewell trigger
