Anyone ever tried this ammo? It certainly is cheap. The ad calls them "Barnes X solid copper Hollow Point Bullets" but also calls them FMJ Boat Tails. Are they hunting legal in California?http://www.sportsman...a...498503&pn=1Woo

Their Ad is one of the stupidest that I have seen."PMC™ Hunting and Target Rifle Ammunition: The Gold Line offers Barnes X solid copper Hollow Point Bullets and hunter-proven 30-30 "Starfire" bullet with an extra-broad hollow point cavity for extra-deep penetration." How does an "extra broad hollow point" get "extra-deep penetration"?

Their Ad is one of the stupidest that I have seen.

The ad was certainly poorly written. I read it to mean that they were selling FMJ hollow points. Wouldn't that be defeating the purpose of a FMJ round? However, they do have good prices on ammo and were the only place I found that had .17 Rem in stock and at only $23/box of 20.Woo
