Yep the nice easy shots are always when you don't have a rifle in the truck.

Yep, and don't tell me that the animals don't know you aren't armed. Nice picture. Don't you just love how they calmly sit there when you can't shoot them. :D

nice picture . Wonder what kind of names he calling you? :D
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

Had a situation like that a few years ago. I Was out at this guys house in Shasta county outside of Redding, when as we were driving out of his private road, we see this yote standing broadside about 55yrds off in the short grass. Well, this old guy I was with, starts swearing up and down bout not having his rifle, while this dog just sits there pretty as can be sniffen the breaze. My dad in the back seat of the truck, taps me on the shoulder and produces this colt commander acp, and say's "that's about 55yrds. Hold about 24in. over his shoulder." So I stuck the colt out the window, held about 2 foot over him and squeezed it off. Wouldn't ya know it that dog got spun like you would not believe, and his hide was definatly not salvagable. To this day I can't believe I actually hit the dog, but he just stood there still and in the breaze the whole time.Kelley

NOW now guys not all coyotes are bad they do help control the rodent population.Don't get me wrong they do need too be controlled and i do like hunting them .Growing up on a family farm I have seen many off them when i am working the feilds . I do enjoy watching them sometimes when I'am bored.

Okay okay, I do contend that the afformentioned statement was a bit too extreme. They are at very least one of the most addaptive creatures out there, and are a hoot to observe. But, as with everything else, the checks and balances of the ecosystem are so skewed that now we have an overage that should be corrected. And man is as usually to blame. On that note I will gladly volunteer my time to tip the scale....Kelley

:D I got it and was wondering if anyone else did! I couldnt wait for someone else to catch on. :P I know what you mean by the fact that the little buggers never show up when your ready to blast 'em but when you do get the chance they often skedaddle anyway, DOH! :o :angry:Ps bring a sidearm when you go fishing, handy for yotes and tree huggers! :o :P  Point Blank
