Just finished another project on my 850 magnum. The stock muzzle brake from Umarex really did not do anything, so guys have been experimenting by taping over the port openings or using electrical shrink wrap. I got some plastic sleeves and was able to tap the sleeve over the compensator(very tight fit) and after test firing, found that noise reduced quite a bit...and more important,there was no effect on POI...!!Stock compensator...

Now that's really cool. I was going to suggest shrink tube if your setup didn't work. But that is a nice addition.
