We had a pretty good morning out at the duck club today. We both shot limits of teal and after 35 years of duck hunting my uncle finaly shot his first blue wing teal.Posted ImagePosted Image

That's a nice hunt right there. But you missed opening morning of crow season. Matt you've changed into a duck hunter.

Yeah, I know. :signs165xk: Same thing happened last year too. Oh well, there's only about two months of duck season left, then the no fly zone over my crow blind will be strictly enforced!

Glad you had a good shoot. I got a Blue Wing last year that's getting stuffed someday. The ducks are really getting decoy shy.

Tell your uncle congrats, and to mount the thing because they are SCARCE out here. I saw one fly by on the day before the closer last year, made my heart sink that it flew as fast as they usually do. My buddies and I just smiled knowing that we finally SAW one. And, at least you're shooting ducks. This year may go down as the most terrible year in many duck hunters' journals.Nothing wrong with being a duck hunter, Matt. It's in the blood.
