Hey, I just received the delivery for the Gerlach yotes I skinned in Nov. The one on the table next to the Jack skin is one excellent pelt. Really big and thick. That was that big female.I still need a few more for a blanket, but I guess I will be patient for prime pelts this coming fall.dbPosted Image

Nice haul! Who did the work for you and how was your experience with them?

They look great, but I thought you had to leave your coyotes lay over there unless you had a trapping and hunting license? Maybe Yotehunter will confirm that fact.

As I understood it, you only needed a trapping license if you were going to sell them.

I believe you are right from what I read on Nevada's coyote regulations.

I couldn't do what Dave is doing because I'd make something out of them and someone would want to buy it. Then I couldn't sell it and there you go. Tell your wife you were right, this one time.

Probably wouldn't make much difference anyway. Nobody in the club seems to have an interest in the pelts anyway. :) I can't wait until I have enough to make something.db

Hey Im in the club and I keep them ! when they have hair on them. We can never be right with our women they would have nothing to nag about :DPosted Image
You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.

I can't wait until I have enough to make something.

Bedspreads are always a nice fur item. I had a beauty years ago I made from beaver and muskrat pelts trimmed in mink. For every so many I sold I'd get a few tanned to use. I made a really cool beaver skin arrow quiver too. :D
