Is anyone else liking these Auto-Ordnance M1 remakes of the original. They weigh in at a mere 5 1/2 lbs. They're selling around $550. Very cool if you ask me :D Posted Imagethis is a link to the specsAuto-Ordnance M1 CarbinesI love military rifles, what can I say?!
Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

I had an original way back in the day. I got rid of it for the reasons Hylander gave. B)

Okay, I am a M1 Carbine fanatic. I will be taking one to Wells trip with 1000 rounds. That said, there is a guy here in town that for $350 makes them custom. I have one and it is fantastic. He uses nothing but original parts, custom stock, receiver and barrel. Let me know and I can give you his phone number.Ron
