I just got back from Sportsman Warehouse and had to pull the trigger on the FoxPro FX3. I have been eyeballin this thing for a few weeks now and finally broke down and bought one today. For you guys who have this model. Do you use only the front speaker or the rear as well? The instructions say to run the front for your distress calls. I'm gonna head out in about and hour to one of my local coyote spots and give it a run. Hope I have a picture of a coyote posted on here in a few hours. Bryan (HH714)

Make sure it doesn't work part time. I had to send mine back to the factory. It had a bad circut board.

If you use both speakers it does sound marginally better, but it will run the batteries down MUCH faster.
Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

Cool little gadget. I didnt call in a coyote, but I did call in a Kit Fox within the first 10 minutes. I put the FX3 out about 100 yards from my stand. For some reason I thought it was gonna be a little louder....I dont know if the batteries make a difference or not. I have cheap AA's in it......Nice little package though..... HH714

I put 8 AA's in the unit. What kind of patterns do you guys suggest I run. I have the 32 caller unit, but I think I would probably only use the Jackrabbit, Cottontail Distress, Coyote Locator, Coyote Male Challenge, Female Invite, Pup Distress, Crows Gathering, Rodent Distress & Kiss of Death. Should I run One sound contionous for like 5-10 minites? Should I combine sounds? Not really to sure what I should do. I have used a hand call all my life and I dont stay on the distress call for more than 1 minute and back off and wait. I have a lot of options with this FoxPro and I want to use it to my advantage. How do you guys use your Foxpro for callin in yotes? Thanks in advance..... Bryan (HH714)

Start at a low volume incase any critters are nearby. I typically start turning the volume up after 2-3 minutes. If you start too loud too soon you may blow them out of the country. Also, as soon as you see something start turning the volume down a bit.
