Been seeing this cottontail up on hill on my property for a few weeks...this morning,I took my 850 Magnum CO2 .177 (8) shot repeater and nailed this bunny from 26 yards shooting uphill...he flipped up in the air and when he landed I could not see him..so I climbed up the hill, and there he was..
Anchored in my storm drain.....no blood...so pellet killed him instantly...hit him just foward/above shoulder...This 850 was just tuned and I received it last Thursday...heavier trigger spring, some gun valve porting,etc...it now shoots 810 FPS using JSB Exacts 8.4 gr....I used a Crosman Premeir Light on the rabbit...I had it tuned because I was getting valve lock in 90 F + weather...the tune fixed that......this morning it was 60 F when I took the shot,so there was sufficient power at that temperature...
