Guys I am going to try and put together a do-it-myself 2 person shooting bench this weekend. Any dimension recommendations? I was thinking 36" across by 48" wide. What do you think?

Is this gonna be permanent, or portable? As long as the other guy holds real still... That would drive me nuts!

Portable so we (wife and me) can both shoot. I am going to use a piece of 3/4" ply wood. Or do you think 2 single person benches is a better choice?

I think two single person benches would be much better. Like Ben mentioned, someone moving around on the bench while you're trying to hit a little fur ball at 200+ yards would drive me nuts.

That's always my excuse when I miss, must be the guy moving in the other seat of the CJ. Doesn't work to well when I'm by myself though. grin

You can hop but you can't hide. Yahi Bowmen. Its not how far you can shoot but how close to the game you get when you shoot. Sights we don't need any sights. Why waist time reloading when I can be making arrows.
