I finished this Cali Legal AR build last night. I sure hope it shoots as sweet as it looks. I waited almost 3 months for the custom upper. It's a White Oak Armament 223, 20" barrel, 1:12 twist, with the pimped out barrel spiraling :P I will put a scope on it soon. My scope rings are to low so I just dropped an EOTech on it for the pic.Posted Image

Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

I see them fine. But he is hosting them on AOL and sometimes that doesn't always work.

My mags triple in size when I go to FREE America for some reason ;)

How is this cali leagal, It has a detachable mag and pistol grip. isn't that an "assault rifle"?

You have to break it open and use a stripper clip.

Aren't CA gun laws just the BEST?So have you actually done any hunting with your 50? Have you seen the Barrett 416?

how would you reload it?

I?m using a pushbutton 3-detent rear take down pin. When the rear take down pin is removed the upper pivots downward allowing me to reload it from the top of the mag. The 10 round mag is pinned into the lower receiver and cant be removed with out an allen wrench.
Bullets are pretty worthless. All they do is hang around waiting to get loaded.

My buddy just took his 50 to his dad's out of state. Just wondering why they outlawed it? My buddies is 7ft long and weighs 40lbs how the heck are you going to do anything with that and not look suspicious.

Just another step by the liberals to take all our firearms away. Of course they claim it could be used for evil purposes or some such BS.Check out the letter from Ronnie Barrett, the owner and CEO of Barrett Firearms. He won't sell his rifles to the police or any other CA government agency now... good for him!

Thats really nice capitol That upper looks expensive alot money you must have put in that barrel....This is what mine looks like not fancy like yours .scope is a 3x9x40 it didnt show up very good.Posted Image

One of the reasons they used to outlaw the .50 BMG was that it could shoot down aircraft. :P Hell, most people can't hit a bird with a shotgun. :lol: How in the heck would they ever hit an airplane with one bullet? :P

Hey Capitol, good looking gun :) I like the green furniture. Which lower do you have?? And did WOA take 3 months to deliver the upper or was that the total build time?? I pick up 2 lowers on wednesday. One for a NM and the other for something a little more exciting. Scott
