IM kinda sad to see the customer pick it up LOL... I like it on my wall LOL.. I also finished hubbys 4 pointer too.. Looks good..But next to his other bucks it looks sooo little LOL..He actually got the antlers from a buck he shot 13 + yrs ago. They had been on an antler plaque all this time. So this year he wanted it mounted :roflmao3[1]: We used a cape he got from a buck this year.. This cape had a huge neck hole, right in front, and had all sorts of cut hair and missing spots due to being tied to the quad..But he wouldnt let me use one of my capes LOL.. Said it had to be his deer with his antlers... Lesson for you hunters.. Do NOT shot the neck and dont tie it to the quad like my hubby did LOL.. Needless to say he got his butt chewed when he got back into camp and I saw the damage LOL.. a 21 in neck too! Youd think he would know better LOL..

5 inches measured just above the antler bur.. The antler bur itself is 7 in..

WOW! I can't imagine something that big would be in the D zone. I got my fingers cross that I'll see one that size or bigger this season. But then again, reality sets in and said that a buck that big will only be found on private properties.By the way, how much does a mount like that go for nowadays? How much would it be to have the whole buck mounted?

Shoulder mount 575, Wall Pedestal add 25.00 for backing, and life size is 3000.00habitat and base is xtra. Alterations are 50.00 an hour. Pretty much any pose you can imagine can be done. Or can go with a stock pose. There are alot of nice bucks in D zone. Just have to either luck out on public land OR know someone with private land..

That's one heck of a nice rack just awesome. From what I have heard any deer taken east of the coastal mountains are not true blackies and will not be scored as such.
