I'm too excited to search for the other thread so I started a new one. I got my first pictures of my bobcat mount today and I pick it up in a few hours. Darius did an outstanding job and I was seriously left speechless when I first saw it. The base, the pose, the quality, everything...OUTSTANDING!I had to share with the CPC crowd because I knew you would understand the beauty of this piece.Amazing!

Sure is a beautiful cat. I called in, and also spotted several bobcats last year, but the wife doesn't want me shooting bobcats. They have a wonderful pelt, though. It is so soft.db

You bet! I've got my tags and I'm trying to decide if I can make it out for the opener. I might have to go the following weekend...we'll see.Any I get from now on will be case-skinned and tanned. I can't see mounting another after seeing this one!

That is a really nice mount and the pale spots make that a very unique cat. Now can you get your wife let you leave it in the middle of the living room. I'm telling you that's where it needs to be.

SJ, she already told me after seeing the photo that it needs to be in the living room. I'm trying to put it in my office, but we'll see where it ends up. We were both very impressed.

Beautiful and so natural looking. My next cat I want to get a rug mount for the wall. My wife's not into the full mounts. She and my girls think it is a bit creepy. The rug mount will pass muster though. Great job and congrats on such a nice mount.Jason

Gorgeous, Absolutely Gorgeous... It is going to bring you a lifetime of pleasure...And I like it much better than my bobcat rug (with its head stuffed). Not only is your mount more impressive looking, but my rug is also much harder to find a place to put due to the stuffed head. If it was just a pelt, like my coyote, then it wouldn't as difficult...Anyway, you did Great, and Congratulations AgainFrank

Well, it never made it to my upstairs office. I brought it in the front door and my wife had me put in the front room. It looks amazing and it is the first thing you see when you walk in.

That is beautiful. Unfortunately, I'd have to hogtie my wife before she'd let me have anything like that in the house. That is a great looking mount though........hmmmmm, where is that rope I had?

Wow, you married the right woman that's for sure. B) It would be out in the garage at my house. :D Heck I'm out in the garage a lot too. ;) Maybe she's trying to tell me something. ;)

i know this should be in the jokes, but it seems to fit the thread .....been married for 35 plus years too .....WHO?S AFRAID OF SATAN A few minutes before the church services started, the townspeople were sitting in their pews and talking. Suddenly, Satan appeared at the front of the church.Everyone started screaming and running for the back entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from the evil incarnate. Soon the church was empty except for one elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seeming oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy was in his presence. So Satan walked up to the old man and said......"DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" "Yep, sure do.""AREN'T YOU AFRAID OF ME?""Nope, sure ain't.""DON'T YOU REALIZE I CAN KILL YOU WITH A WORD?""Don't doubt it for a minute.""DID YOU KNOW I COULD CAUSE YOU PROFOUND, HORRIFYING, PHYSICAL AGONY FOR ALL ETERNITY??""Yup," was the calm reply."AND YOU'RE STILL NOT AFRAID OF ME??" asked Satan. "Nope."More than a little perturbed, Satan asked, "SO, WHY AREN'T YOU AFRAID OF ME?"The man calmly replied, "Been married to your sister for over 48 years."so if she doesn't want it in the living room ....who's to argue ??
