Limit at Lake Amador

8 posts in this topic

my son nailed his first limit at Lake Amador on Monday Dec. 24. all were caught on assorted toplined Rapalas. largest was 4 and 3/4 lb. smallest was around 3 lbs. all had bright salmon colored meat when I took the fillet knife to them, so they were all holdovers.PC240106(Custom).JPG

We used to drive all the way to Eagle Lake (above Susanville) just for the 2 daily limits of 2 fish because of the great fishing up there.

Now is the time of the year with the lakes turning over and all. Nice catch that's all I did for five years was fish. The wife got tired of me going. Yum! those will be great.
