Air rifles

Who has experience working on them .I ask this because my uncles Ben Sheridan model leaks air threw the barrel when i pump it. It will hold air and fire I wonder if its normal for it. I would pick a break open over this model any day...

I've killed more birds and animals with my old Sheridan Silver Streak pellet gun than most people have with regular firearms. I still shoot it occasionally but I have to agree my newer airguns are much easier to shoot. But I learned with that gun and it was the envy of every kid I knew. Here are two places that sell repair kits for the gun you are talking about. Good luck and have fun.http://www.pyramydair.com/cgi-bin/accessor...&referer=55http://www.bizrate.com/paintballgear/oid423295898.html

I didn't think they had air guns in the stone age..... The model i have is 392 PA Well I shot 4 pigeons then my scope mount wiggled loose it clamps on the barrel bad design. I am thinking on tack welding it to the barrel with the MIG .035 wire a quick tack low heat low wire speed.
