Trout Fishing August 2012

9 posts in this topic

Took the family trout fishing before the kids had to go back to school. We had a great time. I will post a few pictures of our trip and tell a little about them. I sure loved these trips when I was little. It is good to see these kids like fishing and camping too.

This is Susan my girl friend for a long time with her limit of fish, and her brother in the back ground.

IMG_0837.jpgThis is my fishing crew. All I had time for here is to bait hooks. Kids loved it though.

This is my kids Lindsey and Ian with some fish they caught.

IMG_0845.jpgThis is Ian and a limit of fish he caught. He was pretty proud of them

IMG_0849.jpgThis is my little brother Brian with Lindsey Ian and Ryan my nephew. He took all three kids out in the boat and caught them some fish. He is a brave man to handle all three at once.

This is me feeding a Chipmunk. That is one of my favorite pastimes while camping.

This is the camp robber that I caught in the snare. He was not harmed in any way. His feelings were a little hurt though. They gave us a real bad time in camp. We could not leave any thing out where they could get at it. After I caught this one and all his buddies seen me playing with him and heard all his hollering. They left us alone. LOL

This is a picture I took while the kids were out fishing with my brother, Right before I turned the Mountain Jay loose. I wanted to prove to them that you can catch a camp robber by pouring salt on his tail. I did not have enough salt shakers after showing them this picture. LOL

Looks like a great time had by all except the Jay. Wonder how long his lesson on thievery will last. Really nice getting out with the younger ones.

The smiles on the faces (especially the kids) says it all :good:

That is surely evident by the 12" grin on their 6" faces :D

Those are the kinds of pictures that you can look at even on a bad day and not help but smile. How can anyone not love it? :signs1180lq:
