Beautiful fish. Congrats. Trout fishing is one of the most enjoyable things for me, that I do outdoors.

No I didnt fowl hook the brownie I was just showing the type of fly I was using. Which was an elk hair caddis, works wonders on them browns and also the parachute adams was working great. I pulled his brother out of an impossible sections of pocket water and was extremly stoked on that fish since it was so hard to get the right drift for him. My buddy and I must of caught 100 fish that day in one hole,It ended up being a stocking location so we moved on after finding that out. Which was better since the fishing was requiring more focus for me. But fishing the stocked hole was a huge learning cruve for me and a confedence booster too. Since I've had a fly rod for a few years and would never break it out and tryed it till this year on some blue gills and now some bows and browns. So far this year the types of fish that have fallen to my fly have been bows, browns, black crappie, bluegill, bass,a tiny carp. I also have made a committment to only fly fish till its mastered and where it starts to become second nature.

Awesome. Wasn't sure if it was fouled or not...not that it matters.

Yeah, EHC and the PA are probably two of the most producing flies you can use for trout. I can fish all day with those two. First off they are pretty durable so they last awhile and second off, they are easy to see which is really important. I always use a lot of dry powder on mine so they float nice and high...I also think they work much better like that.

Great pics.

That is a real cool little brownie. I need to get up in the hills more this year for them.

Very nice,

It is so sweet to get out in a mountain stream, and catch a few bows and browns. And just enjoying God's creations.
