Ground Squirrels

I got out last weekend and got a few G squirrels with my 1322.All shoots at about 12 yards with Crosman HP pellets.Shot 7 of them two went down the hole. heres a picture of the 3 Momma and two young ones.DSC05322.jpg

Yep, I use photobucket when I've got alot of photos to post. Also I try and resize my photos to a reasonable size so that the file size is smaller too.

Great shooting...!! I have a 1322 but it is still stock...been contemplating installing a FT valve/piston...It chronos at 460 now,....think it may reach 500+ with mods...is your barrel 14"...??

Crazyhorse,Here is what I have done to the 1322 so far.I dont have a crony, but with 6 pumps it is very accurate and knocked them squirrels down with now problem.I would like to get chronied to know how many pumps get me 500fps with crosman HP, domed & rws domed 14.3 gr pellets.Crosman 1322Trigger assembly and extended bolt from gmac.1322 Breach & 1399 Shoulder Stock from CrosmanLeapers 6x32 AO MD scopeLeapers Airgun/.22 1'' Bi-directional Offset MountMellon Valve & Piston assembly2289 forearm and barrel band22 cal AC Custom barrel 14” long

I have been building my daughter's 1322 and it has only the steel breech and 14 1/2" barrel. With (10) pumps is shoots a pretty consistant 473FPS. As soon as the Long Probe Bolt, FT Piston and FT Valve arrive from Mellon Air I'll install them and shoot it over the Chrony again and post the results for you with various pump quantities so you'll have a pretty good idea of approximately where your's is shooting. I'd say with all the mods you've done to it with (10) pumps it is most likely hitting around 500 to 510 FPS, maybe a little bit more. Like I said, I'll let you know what the numbers are once I get mine more closely modded to yours.
