Just put regular batteries in it Larry. They'll last for longer than you think.
You mean Duracell Alcaline? . Is all radio shack stuff junk? The Fox pro booklet says I should get 6 to 10 hours with NiHM!Useing one speaker.

I would think you would get more than that from plain old Copper Tops.
I hate wasting money Just spent $60 bucks on the type of batteries they said I need and a charger. This morning the caller work just fine . Last night the low battery light stayed solid as in Dead. Any how I have the "Copperhead"type batteries also. Maybe Fox Pro is a Shar holder in the NiHM battery co. Thanks John for your input and the cool stuff you have sent me lately.

Larry, I have many rechargeable items so don't get me wrong. They're great if you use them on a regular basis. But I've found that if they aren't maintained and monitored they fail you when you need them most. Regular alkaline batteries are plenty cheap and easy to have on hand. It never hurts to have spares around for when those high dollar NiCad's and lithium ion batteries give up the ghost...John

Maybe your new rechargeables need more than the initial charge to get up to speed and retain a full charge? Are you sure the directions didn't say something like "charge for 6-10 hours before use"?Also, $60 is a lot of 4-packs of AA alkaline batteries that will last you at least a couple of years in your Foxpro.

BINGO!
These radio shack batteries are sold as Rechargable in 15 minutes or less. (Charger automaticlly turns off after 15 minutes) But other NiMH batteries it will cook over night. But only 4 at a time. Also found out these batteries are rated at 2000MH as wear K-Mart or Wall Mart or Costco are rated at 2500.So just got off the phone with Radio shack. There going to take the whole 9 yds back.I'm going to Wal-Mart. Radio Shack is just around the corner. Wal-Mart is a couple of cities away. Never had any need for these type of Batteries before so never heard of them till I read the directions in Fox Pro system.

Just buy Alkaline you won't use $60 worth before the caller wears out.
Battery power and strength are rated on the battery cover. If you want them yo last longer go to e-bay and get rechargable batteries rated at least 2100 and 2300 are even better. I dont have a foxpro but I am guessing they are taking AA's.
