Bow Fishing Stabilizer Light

8 posts in this topic

I am currently doing a home made stabilzer mounted LED flashlight but was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a bow mounted light? I have seen the Hawglight mini-sniper and stabalite advertisments but it's hard to find real independent reviews for fishing. Any help would be appreciated. I am using a Bowtech Soldier. All shooting is off of the shore or bridges at night.I also saw the OMP Light Stryke Laser Bowfishing Sight but that seems like you need another light since it is just mosre of a green laser sight and very focused. The bow shop told me for the first time this year they have more bowfishing activity than deer bow hunting last year

Well now isn't that a bummer. I know all of the states around here allow it but we are in big river country and overwhelmed with carp, gar, buffalo fish, etc. We have those asian jumper fish by the thousands. I found a hog hunting site with a DIY I used to create lights for my son and I. They work well with lithium batteries.http://discussions.texasbowhunter.com/foru...ead.php?t=86909
