Put some 31' mud terrains on my Yota. They clear just fine. No need for a lift. post-3604-1277267508_thumb.jpgpost-3604-1277267458_thumb.jpg

Those look great on your truck. Now go find a small drainage ditch (the width of your tires and as deep as half the height of the tire) and approach it at a diagonal angle until you drop a front tire in, stop, get out and look to see where your rear tire is at for clearances. With most vehicles, if you drop your right front tire into a ditch, your right rear tire will get sucked up into the fender well. This is where you need to check for clearances-see if your tire actually clears everything in the fender wells. The opposit will happen when you drive thru and put the rear tire into the ditch-your right front tire will suck into the fender well. This is known as flexing your vehicles suspension. This test will also let you know if you have loose cab and bed bolts/nuts.On another note, you can also use the small drainage ditch to test your approach and departure angles which is another important test for your vehicles offroading capabilities. Just make sure to have someone directing you as you drive into the ditch so they can see if you will have bumper to ground clearance BEFORE you get all the way into it and find yourself STUCK ;) . You've got a great start on that vehicle but just make sure you test everything before heading out into the real stuff.
