Carpslayer attacks again

11 posts in this topic

Well when the coyotes don't want to come out to play in the summer months I guess I'm just gonna have to keep shooting the carp. I got about 12 carp after work in about a hour one good one the rest about three to four pounds but fun to shoot and there is lots of action :o .Picture053.jpg

Carp fishing is a huge sport in England. All sorts of specialized equipment. :)

Ya they are fun to catch on lite tackle. Pound for pound they fight just as hard if not harder than any other fish a lot of people think of them as a trash fish because they are not good eating or because they live in ditch's and eat on muddy bottoms but in reality so do most other fish. But all of these I shot with my carp bow I didn't fish for them just shoot at them but last weekend we caught a really big one.

Thats a big carp you are holding up right on . That must be a blast.I use to catch them on corn I could look into the river and see them searching the sand beds looking for food it was fun catching them and the fight was good.

They are a lot of fun to catch on a line and hook. I watched my sister inlaw reel in a 33 pounder she had snaged in the back with a lure.
