  1. That's very impressive. Please be sure to post the pics and load data you use for the .22-250 as well.
  2. Thanks again Bisley. I appreciate the advice👍
  3. Bisley, Thanks for posting the pics of your load results with the 55 gr Nosler LFBT. Those are some pretty good groups. I plan to develop a predator load for the 243 Win with the same bullets and was wondering if you’ve experienced with IMR 4350. I’ve had good results with that powder in larger caliber rifles specifically my 270. I was also wondering what primers you use for your 243. I was planning on going with Federal GM210 Match primers. Just wanted to get your thoughts.
  4. Bisley, congrats with your new baby girl! She sure is a beauty. I'm curious to know what the twist rate is on that bull barrel?

SXS, to answer your question about the vx6 you're considering, one of my deer hunting buddies has a vx6 2-12x42 on his 300 win mag and he absolutely loves it especially the clarity because he has poor vision. I personally don't own any vx6 scopes because of the price being in excess of $1k. You can get the vx3 4.5-14 which is what I have for my 270 and 223 with almost just as good clarity for half the price of a vx6. However, if you don't mind spending the extra money then I don't think you can go wrong with a vx6 scope. I wish you all the best in choosing your new scope.

    I suggest a Leupold VX3 4.5-14×40 for around $500.
  7. Can someone please explain how this does NOT violate the constitution's 4th Amendment?
  8. You can't go wrong with Leupold. I recommend the VX3 4.5-14×40 scope. It's currently on sale at midwayusa.com for $499. It may be a little more expensive than some of the other cheaper brands but you get what you pay for. I have one for my 223 remington 700 and browning 270. It's a great all around scope for hunting varmints, predators, deer, etc.
